Stamford Youth Soccer League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides year round soccer programs for youth ages 4 to 19. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where children of all ability levels and backgrounds can learn the game of soccer, as well as important life skills of sportsmanship, teamwork and discipline.

The Box Challenge:  Specifications are in the following video. The idea is for players to keep their feet moving in a one yard square box, while repeatedly performing the movements in the video for 5 minutes: Week 2

Players in 2nd grade and under should practice any of these dribbling skills for at least 15 minutes, and players in 3rd grade and up should practice these dribbling skills for at least 25 minutes. If you do not have cones, hats, gloves, old towels/shirts, bags, shoes, etc. make great substitutes.
